ROAST PORK | |
4 lb. pork loin roast Salt, pepper, sage & nutmeg Rub spices on meat to taste. Brown meat in skillet with 1 clove crushed garlic, 1/4 cup chopped onion and oil. Brown and reserve drippings. Place meat in roaster with 2 bay leaves, 1/4 cup parsley and 2 cups red wine. Bake at 350 degrees for 2 hours. Add 1 can beef consomme and bake 20 minutes more. |
