1/2 c. butter
1 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. milk
1 c. "Taylor" mashed sweet potatoes
2 1/3 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
2 eggs, beaten
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. allspice
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. chopped nuts
1/2 c. currants

Cream butter; add sugar, eggs, spices and then the potatoes, flour and milk a little at a time. Add nuts and currants. Roll or drop on greased cookie sheet. Bake in 350 degree oven for 15 minutes.
