SOUR CREAM POUND CAKE 
1 c. butter
3 c. sugar
6 eggs, separated
3 c. flour
1/4 tsp. baking soda
Pinch of salt
1/2 pt. sour cream

Cream butter and sugar thoroughly. Add egg yolks, one at a time. Mix well. Alternately add flour and sour cream, mixing well on lowest speed of mixer. Beat egg whites until stiff. Fold in to cake mixture. Pour into a large greased and floured tube pan. Bake for 1 1/2 hours at 300 degrees.
