FROSTY LIME PIE 
CRUST:

1 cup (2 sticks) butter
3 cups graham cracker crumbs
2/3 cup granulated sugar
2 tsp. cinnamon

Prepare two (10-inch) pie crusts. Melt butter. Add, graham cracker crumbs, sugar and cinnamon. Use small pie plate to pack down crusts.

FILLING:

2 1/2 cups applesauce
2 (3 oz. ea.) pkgs. jello
1 1/4 cups sugar
2 cups evaporated milk (chilled)
2 tbsp. lemon juice

Step 1: Heat applesauce to a boil. Add jello and stir until dissolved (Lime or raspberry seem to have the best flavor). Add sugar and stir well until dissolved. Chill until nearly stiff.

Step 2: Whip together until nearly stiff (peaks) very cold evaporated milk and lemon juice.

Add Step 1 to Step 2 and beat slowly only until mixed.

Pour into prepared crusts and refrigerate until well chilled.

Makes 2 pies.
