MICROWAVE CRAB DIP 
6 tbsp. butter
1/4 c. finely chopped onion
1 clove garlic, minced
1 tbsp. chopped parsley
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
1-2 tsp. Worcestershire
1/4 tsp. Tabasco sauce
1/8 tsp. salt
12 oz. crabmeat

Place butter in 2 quart casserole. Microwave on high 45 seconds or until butter melts. Add onion, garlic and parsley. Cover and microwave on High 2 1/2 to 3 1/2 minutes, until onions are tender. Add cream cheese (cubed); cover. Microwave on High 30 seconds to 1 minute, stirring once.

Stir in Worcestershire and Tabasco sauces and salt. Mix well. Gently stir in crabmeat. Microwave on High 1 1/2 to 2 1/2 minutes until thoroughly heated. Serve with crackers. Dip can be served hot or cold.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
