1 c. brown sugar
1 c. butter
1 tsp. baking soda
4 tbsp. buttermilk or sweet milk
1 c. white sugar
2 eggs
1 heaping tsp. mace
Flour to make a stiff dough

Combine all ingredients and roll out into a thin dough. Cut out and bake at 400 degrees until done; these cookies cook fast.
