APPLE CAKE 
1 1/2 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. white sugar
1/2 lb. melted butter
4 eggs
2 c. raisins
2 c. pecans
2 c. apples, chopped and soaked in lemon juice
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 c. water, mixed with 3 tsp. baking soda
4 c. flour

Mix all dry ingredients in a mixing bowl. After mixing well, stir in all other ingredients. Then place in a greased and floured pan.

Preheat oven to 325°F.

Bake for 30 to 45 minutes.
