MILDRED'S HOT MILK SPONGE CAKE 
4 eggs
2 c. sugar
2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1-2 tbsp. butter
1 c. sweet milk
1 tsp. vanilla

Beat eggs and sugar until light; add vanilla. Sift flour and baking powder together, add to egg and sugar mixture. Finally add milk and butter which has been heated to boiling. Pour into greased and floured 9x13 pan.

Bake at 350°F for 30 minutes.
