1/2 c. sugar
Dash of salt
4 eggs
2 c. milk
1/2 tsp. vanilla
43 vanilla wafer cookies
5-6 bananas (sliced)
3 tbsp. flour
8-9 inch baking dish

Mix together sugar, milk, flour, salt, 1 egg and 3 yolks. Cook over low heat on double boiler until thick and custard like. Apply a thin layer of custard in bottom of pan. Layer with cookies, then layer with bananas (sliced). Repeat layering until all custard is gone. Chill at least 1 hour.
