PEAR NUT TORTE | |
1 egg 3/4 c. sugar 2 tbsp. flour 1 tsp. baking powder 1/4 tsp. salt 2 lg. pears 1/2 c. nuts, chopped 1 tsp. vanilla Beat egg and sugar together until very light. Stir flour, baking powder and salt into egg mixture. Peel pears and cut into large diced pieces. Add diced pears, nuts and vanilla. Pour into 8 x 8 pan. Bake 35 minutes at 350 degrees. Serve warm or chilled with whipped cream. |
