"SIMPLE SLAW" 
Fresh cabbage
Salt
Vegetable oil
White sugar
White vinegar

Shred cabbage very thin. Place in Tupperware bowl. If a large head is used, pour 1/2 cup oil over cabbage, about 1 teaspoon salt and 1 teaspoon sugar and 1/2 cup vinegar. Mix well. Place lid on Tupperware, turn over and refrigerate.

Ready to eat in about 45 minutes. Later, pour off excess mixture so the bottom portion doesn't get soggy. Adjust above amount for smaller or larger heads of cabbage.
