SOFT CUSTARD PIE | |
3 eggs or 6 egg yolks 1/8 tsp. salt 1/4 c. white or brown sugar 2 c. scalded milk Vanilla to taste Beat eggs enough to blend evenly. Add sugar, salt and scalded milk. Pour in unbaked pie shell. Bake at 400 degrees for 20 minutes. Reduce heat to 350 degrees. Bake only until knife inserted, comes out clean. Do not boil or over bake, about 1/2 hour or so. |
