CHOCOLATE PARTY CAKE 
1/2 c. butter
1 c. sugar (pure granulated)
4 eggs
1 c. flour (self-rising)
1 tbsp. vanilla
1 c. chopped nuts
16 oz. can chocolate syrup
Marshmallow creme

Heat oven to 350 degrees. Cream butter and gradually cream in sugar. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Blend in flour, chocolate syrup, vanilla, and nuts. Bake 35 to 40 minutes. Spread with marshmallow creme while cake is still hot. When cooled, spread with topping.

TOPPING:

1/2 c. butter
2 c. sugar (pure granulated)
1/2 c. plain cocoa
1/2 c. milk

Combine all ingredients in saucepan; place on medium heat. Stir until mixture starts to boil. Remove from heat; beat with electric mixer for 9 minutes. Spread over top of marshmallow creme.
