CRESCENT CINNAMON TWISTS
1/4 c. firmly packed brown sugar
2 tbsp. softened butter
1-2 tsp. cinnamon
1 (8 oz.) can Pillsbury crescent rolls

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Grease cookie sheet. In small bowl combine first 3 ingredients. Separate crescent rolls into 4 rectangles; firmly press perforations to seal.

Spread 2 rectangles with butter-sugar mixture; lightly press together. Cut each rectangle crosswise into 8 strips. Twist each strip tightly several times; seal ends.

Place on cookie sheet and bake 10-15 minutes until golden brown. Spread glaze on warm twists - NOT HOT!

GLAZE:

3/4 c. powdered sugar
1 tbsp. melted butter
1-2 tsp. hot water

Mix together and spread on warm twists.

Ours turn out flat and the cinnamon runs out the sides. Are we missing a step?

Doesn't sound right. They didnt turn out flat for me. Did you use a store brand for the crescent rolls or were they in the fridge for too long?

Is there other glazes you can use for the twists? I'm currently out of powered sugar.
