SANDY'S NEW YORK STYLE
CHEESECAKE
 
1/2 lb. cottage cheese (sm. curd)
4 eggs
1 stick butter
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 lb. cream cheese
1 tbsp. flour
1 tbsp. cornstarch
1 tbsp. vanilla
1/2 lb. sour cream

Strain cottage cheese into large bowl (use a spoon to "push" it through strainer). Add eggs. Melt butter and add to cottage cheese. (Note: Let cream cheese stand at room temperature and cut into small pieces before adding.) Mix in rest of ingredients in order listed. Blend well!

Pour mixture into 10 inch springform pan which has been prepared with a graham cracker crust. Bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour. Turn off oven and let cake sit for 2 hours in oven. Chill.
