SUKIYAKI 
3/4 lb. round steak, sliced thin
1 bunch green onions, cut in 1" lengths
2 round onions, sliced
6 stalks celery, sliced diagonally
2 c. bamboo shoots, sliced
2 lg. carrots, cut in strips
3/4 c. soy sauce
1 c. water
3/4 c. brown sugar

Strips about 1" wide, 2" long.

Heat skillet to highest temperature, add 2 tablespoons oil, meat. Stir a few seconds. Add soy sauce, sugar, water and bring to a boil. Add bamboo shoots, carrots, round onions and cook 3 minutes. Add green onions and mix with rest of vegetables for a few seconds. Serve immediately with rice. Serves 8 to 10.
