STRAWBERRY SHORT CAKE | |
2 eggs 1 c. sugar 1 c. flour 1 tsp. vanilla 1 tsp. baking powder 1 stick butter 1/2 c. milk 1 pt. fresh strawberries 1 (9 oz.) container Cool Whip Combine eggs, sugar, flour, vanilla, and baking powder; mix well. Bring butter and milk just to a boil. Add to flour mixture, mixing well. Divide in 2 (8 inch) pans. Bake at 325 degrees for 25 minutes. After cooling, spread bottom layer of cake with Cool Whip and top with strawberry slices. Add top layer of cake with Cool Whip. Add remaining strawberry slices to top. |
