FRESH COCONUT CAKE 
1 box Duncan Hines yellow cake mix

Mix with butter as directed. 1 tsp. coconut flavoring

Bake as directed on box in a 9 x 13 inch pan 2 inches deep. Punch hot cake with fork, making holes all over.

Heat, but DO NOT BOIL: 1 3/4 c. milk 1/2 c. sugar

Spoon over cake while warm. Let cake cool completely.

ICING:

1 (8 oz.) container Cool Whip

Sprinkle 6 ounces coconut over top. Store in refrigerator.
