CHINESE NOODLE SALAD 
1 lg. head cabbage (Napa or regular), chopped fine
5 green onions, diced
2 pkgs. Top Ramen noodle soup (discard flavor pkg.)

Break up noodles well.

1/2 c. sunflower or sesame seeds
1/2 c. butter
1 sm. pkg. slivered almonds

Chop cabbage and onions; chill. Brown noodles, seeds and almonds in butter until light tan in color.

DRESSING:

1 c. salad oil
2 tsp. soy sauce
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. vinegar

Mix all ingredients together 20 minutes before serving.

Serves 12 to 14.
