SARAH'S HAMBURGER STEW 
2 lbs. hamburger
1/4 c. diced onion
2 tbsp. butter
2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 qt. tomato juice
4 (15 1/2 oz.) cans mixed vegetables
Beef bouillon, to taste

Brown meat and onion in butter in heavy skillet, drain. Place in large pot and add remaining ingredients. Bring to a boil and reduce heat and simmer for 45 minutes.
