CHICKEN OR HAM RICE PILAF 
2/3 c. uncooked rice
2/3 c. broken spaghetti
3 c. chicken broth
1 c. broccoli flowerets
1 c. cooked chicken or ham, chopped
1/2 c. green onions
1/4 c. chopped walnuts
1/4 c. diced red or green peppers
1/4 tsp. thyme

Saute rice and spaghetti in 1-2 tablespoons olive oil until brown, about 5 minutes. Add chicken broth to above and cook fairly fast until rice is cooked. Stir rest of ingredients into above and cook through. Cover and it will finish sooner. Serves 4.
