ONION CASSEROLE 
4 medium onions
1 cup milk
2 eggs well beaten
1/4 cup green peppers
1 cup grated cheddar cheese
1 stick butter
1 can mushroom soup
12 saltine crackers, crushed

Slice onions and sauté in butter 10 minutes. Place a thin layer of onions and mushroom soup on crumbs. Repeat layers. Mix milk and eggs together and pour over layers. Salt and pepper to taste. Add rest of cracker crumbs on top.

Bake 20 minutes at 350°F.
