SALISBURY STEAK 
1 (10 1/2 oz.) can condensed onion soup
1 1/2 lb. ground beef
1/2 c. fine dry bread crumbs
1 egg, slightly beaten
1/4 tsp. salt
dash of pepper
1/4 c. ketchup
1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1/2 tsp. prepared mustard
1/4 c. water
1 tbsp. flour

Mix thoroughly 1/3 cup soup, beef, bread crumbs, egg, salt and pepper. Shape into 6 oval patties. In skillet, brown patties (use shortening if necessary); pour off fat. Add remaining soup, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce and mustard.

Gradually blend water into flour until smooth. Stir into soup mixture. Cover; cook over low heat 20 minutes or until done. Stir occasionally.

Makes 6 servings.
