SHORT BREAD FROM SCOTLAND | |
1 lb. unsalted butter 1 c. sugar 5 c. unsifted flour Cream butter and sugar. Add flour. Dough will be stiff. Spread in 11"x17" jelly roll pan. Bake at 275 degrees for 1 hour. Cut in shapes with sharp knife immediately upon removal from oven. Store in air tight container. |
