1 c. sugar
6 tsp. cornstarch
1 c. water
Pinch of salt

Mix ingredients and cook until clear, about 1 minute. Remove from stove and add 5 tablespoons strawberry gelatin. Let cool. Add 1 quart strawberries, put mixture in baked pie shell. Chill and serve with whipped topping or whipped cream.

Fresh raspberry pie may be made the same way by using raspberry gelatin and 1 quart fresh raspberries.
