Thaw and soften 1 loaf of frozen bread dough. Roll out dough to make 12"x6" rectangle, spread with 2 tablespoons softened butter and sprinkle with mixture of 1/2 cup sugar and 1 teaspoon cinnamon. Roll up from long side, pinch edges and cut into 1" slices. In 8" or 9" pan, melt 2 tablespoons butter, sprinkle 2 tablespoons brown sugar and 1 tablespoon syrup. Mix together. Place slices on top and cover. Let rise until doubled.
Bake at 375 degrees for 20 to 30 minutes until browned. Remove from oven and immediately place upside down on plate. Let pan set on top for several minutes before removing. (Optional: Can also put nuts on bottom of pan.)
