DEATH BY CHOCOLATE | |
1 (19.8 oz.) family size brownie mix 1/4-1/2 c. black coffee & 1 tsp. sugar, mixed 3 (3.5 oz.) boxes Jello chocolate mousse 8 (1.2-1.4 oz.) Skor or Heath candy bars (reserve sm. amount for garnish) 1 (12 oz.) or container whipped topping Or Kahlua Bake brownies according to package directions; cool. Punch holes in brownies with a fork; pour coffee-sugar mixture (or kahlua) over brownies and set aside. Make chocolate mousse according to package directions. Break candy bars with a hammer (while still in the wrappers). Crumble half the soaked brownies into the bottom of a glass trifle dish. Cover with half the mousse, then half the candy bars, then half the whipped topping. Repeat layers. Garnish by sprinkling lightly with reserved candy bars. |
