SOUR CREAM DELIGHTS 
1 1/4 c. sifted flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
1/8 tsp. nutmeats
1/4 c. butter
1 egg
3/4 c. brown sugar, firmly packed
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. sour cream
2/3 c. chopped pitted dates or chopped candied fruit
1/2 c. chopped nuts

Sift flour with dry ingredients. Cream butter and sugar. Add egg and vanilla and mix well. Add sifted dry ingredients alternately with sour cream. Fold in chopped dates or candied fruit and nuts. Drop by teaspoonfuls on a greased cookie sheet and bake at 400 degrees for 8 minutes. Makes 3 dozen.
