GRANDMA'S BUTTERSCOTCH PIE | |
1 c. milk 1/2 c. water 1 c. brown sugar 6 tbsp. flour 3 beaten egg yolks 1 tsp. vanilla 1 tbsp. butter Bring milk and water to a boil, but DO NOT scald. Remove from heat and add brown sugar and flour. Blend well. Bring back to a rolling boil for 1 minute. Remove from heat and add the vanilla and butter. Stir until well blended and pour into a baked graham cracker crust. Serve with either whipped cream or a meringue topping. |
