SANTAS WHISKERS 
1 c. butter
1 c. sugar
2 tbsp. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
2 1/2 c. sifted flour
3/4 c. finely chopped green and red candied cherries
1/2 c. finely chopped pecans
1/2 c. flaked coconut

Cream butter, sugar, together. Blend in milk and vanilla. Stir in flour, cherries, nuts. Form into 2 rolls 2x8-inches long. Roll in coconut, wrap rolls in wax paper and chill overnight or several hours. Place on cookie sheet. Bake 375 degrees for 12 minutes or until edges are golden. Approximately 5 dozen.
