SWISS BACON PLEASERS | |
8 oz. can Pillsbury refrigerated quick crescent dinner rolls 4 slices (4x8 inch) Swiss cheese 3 eggs, slightly beaten 3/4 c. milk 1 tbsp. instant minced onion 4 slices bacon, cooked crisp, drained and crumbled 1 tbsp. parsley flakes Heat oven to 425 degrees. Grease and flour an 8 or 9 inch square pan. Place the separated dough into the bottom of the pan and spread it around the bottom and up the sides at least one inch all around to form the crust. Seal perforations. Place cheese slices over dough. In small bowl, combine eggs, milk and onion; pour half of milk mixture over cheese. Sprinkle with the bacon and parsley flakes. Bake at 425 degrees for 15 to 18 minutes until golden brown. Cool 5 minutes. Cut in 2 inch squares. This recipe enlarges to fit a 9x13 inch pan easily by doubling all items. This recipe also adapts easily to sausage instead of bacon. |
