TUNA BAKE WITH CHEESE SWIRLS 
3 tbsp. chopped onion
3 tbsp. fat
1 tsp. salt
6 tbsp. flour
1 (10 1/2 oz.) can condensed chicken soup
1 1/2 c. milk
1 (7 oz.) can tuna
1 tbsp. lemon juice

Brown onion in hot fat; add salt and flour; blend. Add soup and milk; cook until sauce is thick and smooth. Add flaked tuna and lemon juice. Pour into greased baking dish and cover with cheese swirls. Bake at 450 degrees for 15 minutes and 425 degrees for 15 minutes more.

CHEESE SWIRLS:

2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
3 tsp. baking powder
3 to 4 tbsp. shortening
2/3 to 3/4 c. milk

Sift flour, salt and baking powder. Cut in shortening until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Add milk all at once and mix just until dough follows fork around bowl. Turn out on lightly floured surface; knead gently 1/2 minute. Roll dough 1/4 inch thick, sprinkle with 1/2 cup grated American cheese. Roll and cut in 1/2 inch slices
