NEW POTATOES AND PEAS 
2 lbs. sm. new potatoes, scrubbed and quartered
3 c. milk
2 c. shelled fresh peas or 2 c. frozen peas
2 tbsp. butter
Salt and pepper to taste
Water

Cover potatoes with water in a saucepan and cook until almost done. Add peas and continue cooking until potatoes are done. Drain. Add milk to drained potatoes and peas. Place over low heat and add butter, salt and pepper. Heat until hot but do not boil. Serve immediately.
