BRAN MUFFINS 
(Make in extra large bowl.)

1 c. butter
2 c. boiling water
3 c. sugar
3 c. All Bran
3 c. Bran Buds
4 eggs
4 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
1 qt. buttermilk with 5 tsp. baking soda dissolved in it

(It is best to put buttermilk in a bowl rather than leave it in the carton when you add the soda. The soda causes foam.)

Nutmeats, raisins (optional)

Combine butter, water, sugar, All Bran and Bran Buds. Beat eggs and add. Mix in flour and salt. Add buttermilk. Bake at 350 degrees 20-25 minutes.

This mixture can be kept in your refrigerator for several weeks. You can take what you like to have fresh muffins daily or weekly.
