FRENCH APPLE CAKE | |
PART 1: Peel and core 6 apples. Slice thin and cook with 1/2 cup water and 1/2 cup sugar until soft, add: 2 tbsp. butter 1 tsp. lemon juice Dash salt PART 2: 1/2 c. sugar 2 tbsp. flour 1/2 tsp. cinnamon Mix together in separate bowl. PART 3: 3 c. graham cracker crumbs 1 c. sugar 1 c. melted butter 1 tsp. cinnamon Dash of salt Mix thoroughly together. Line bottom and sides of a 9 inch springform with 1/2 of Part 3. Sprinkle over 1/2 of Part 2. Put in all of Part 1. Sprinkle over rest of Part 2. Cover with other 1/2 of Part 3. Bake in 350 degree oven for 25-30 minutes. |
