ORIENTAL GREEN CASSEROLE 
1 lb. ground beef (or chicken)
1/3 c. chopped celery
1/3 c. chopped onion
1/4 c. chopped green pepper
1 c. water
1 tbsp. cornstarch
1 tsp. sugar
1/4 tsp. ginger
1/4 c. soy sauce
1 can bamboo shoots, drained
1 (6 oz.) pkg. pea pods, frozen

Brown and drain meat. Add all vegetables and simmer 10 to 12 minutes while cooking water, sugar, ginger, cornstarch and soy sauce until thickened. Add to vegetables.
