1/2 c. cider vinegar
1/2 c. beet juice (liquid from can)
1 tbsp. apple juice concentrate, thawed
2 cloves
3 peppercorns
1/4 bay leaf
2 1/2 c. canned sliced beets
2 sm. green onions, sliced

Boil vinegar and beet juice. Add juice and spices to boiling. Pour over beets and then chill well.
