CORN COB JELL 
12 bright red corn cobs
1 1/2 qt. water
1 pkg. Sure-Jel
3 c. sugar

Break cobs in halves or thirds. Boil in water 30 minutes; remove and strain. Should be 3 cups; if not, add water. Add Sure-Jel and bring to a rolling boil. Add the sugar and boil hard 2 to 3 minutes.

This looks and taste almost like apple. You can add a few drops of red color. (Cheaper than apples!)
