1 1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. milk
2 c. flour
2 eggs
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. nuts
3 large bananas (very ripe)

Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs and beat well. Add flour mixture (including salt and soda), sifting, alternately with milk. Beat after each addition. Add vanilla and beat. Stir in mashed bananas and nuts. Pour into greased and floured rectangle pan.

Bake at 350°F about 40 minutes.
