BEEF STEW | |
2 lb. beef, cut in cubes 2 tbsp. salad oil 4 c. boiling water 1 tbsp. lemon juice 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce 1 clove garlic, diced 1 med. onion, diced 2 tsp. salt 1 tsp. brown sugar 1/2 tsp. paprika 1/2 tsp. ground black pepper 1 beef bouillon cube 5 potatoes, cut fine 6 carrots, cut fine 2 celery stalks, cut fine Brown meat in salad oil. Add water, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, salt, brown sugar, paprika, pepper and bouillon cube. Cover and simmer 2 hours. Then add garlic, onion, carrots, and potatoes. Continue to cook until vegetables are tender. |
