CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES 
1 c. white sugar
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. butter (Imperial)
1 c. oil
1 egg
1 tbsp. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cream of tartar
4 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 lg. bag (12 oz.) chocolate chips
1/2 c. nuts, optional

Cream together sugars, butter, oil, egg, vanilla, salt and cream of tartar; then add flour and baking powder. After blended, add chocolate chips and nuts. Drop on ungreased cookie sheet and bake at 350 degrees for 13 minutes. Makes a large recipe.
