BARBECUED SPARERIBS 
3 lb. spare ribs
3/4 c. ketchup
2 tbsp. brown sugar
2 onions, sliced
1 tsp. paprika
1/2 tsp. black pepper
1/4 tsp. cayenne pepper
1/4 c. water
2 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. chili powder
1 tsp. salad dressing
Salt and pepper

Salt and pepper ribs. Brown well in heavy skillet. While meat is browning, make up the sauce and pour over ribs. Slice onions on top. Cover tightly and cook slowly for 1 1/2 hours, basting frequently.

Twenty minutes before ribs are done, remove lid so sauce will thicken.
