HEARTY CABBAGE CHOWDER 
3 tbsp. melted butter
2 1/2 c. (1/2 lb.) finely chopped cabbage
1 lg. potato, finely chopped
1 1/2 c. water
2 chicken bouillon cubes
2 c. milk
Salt and pepper to taste
1 c. (4 oz.) shredded Swiss cheese

Combine all ingredients in 3 quart saucepan (except milk and cheese). Cook until soft. Add milk and simmer a few minutes. Add cheese and stir until melted.
