SAMMY'S HONEY BISCUITS 
2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. sugar
4 tsp. baking powder
1/2 c. shortening
3/4 c. milk
3 tbsp. honey
3 tbsp. butter

Sift together flour, salt, sugar and baking powder. With fork, work shortening into flour mixture until consistency of corn meal. Add milk. Knead gently on floured board. Roll out to 1/2 inch thickness. Cut with biscuit cutter. With thumb, make indentation in center of each. Place on baking sheet. Combine honey and butter and place 1/2 teaspoon in each indentation. Set aside 10 minutes. Bake at 425 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes.
