O'HENRY BARS 
2/3 c. butter
1 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. light corn syrup
3 tsp. vanilla
4 c. quick-cooking rolled oats, uncooked
1 (6 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips
2/3 c. peanut butter

Cream butter, blend in sugar, syrup and vanilla. Stir in oats. Spread into greased 9x13 inch pan. Bake 15 minutes at 350 degrees. (No longer! Even if batter doesn't look done.) Let cool.

Melt chocolate chips and peanut butter over low heat and spread over baked oat mixture. Refrigerate until chilled through. Cut into bars.
