APPLE PECAN CAKE 
1 1/2 c. oil
2 c. sugar
3 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
3 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1 c. chopped pecans
3 c. peeled, chopped apples

Blend oil, sugar, eggs and vanilla. Mix dry ingredients together and add to first mixture. Fold in apples and nuts. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.

Pour topping over cake. Let stand at least 1 hour before serving. Can be baked in 9x12 or bundt pan that has been greased.

TOPPING:

1 c. brown sugar
1 stick butter
1/4 c. milk

Boil together 3 minutes and pour over cake.
