POWER COOKIES 
2 c. brown sugar
2 c. white sugar
3/4 c. butter, softened
1 c. shortening
4 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
3 c. flour
2 tsp. salt (add to flour)
2 tsp. baking soda (add to flour)
3 c. quick oats
2 c. coconut
2 c. raisins
1 c. chocolate chips
1 c. chopped nuts

Mix in order given. Drop by teaspoonful on greased cookie sheet about 2-inches apart. Bake at 350 degrees about 8 minutes. Makes 7 dozen.
