ALMOND CRESCENTS 
1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. shortening
1/3 c. sugar
1 tbsp. Amy's Amaretto
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. flour
1/2 c. chopped almonds
Confectioners' sugar

Cream butter and shortening together until fluffy. Add sugar. Add liqueur and vanilla. Then flour and nuts. Chill 3 to 4 hours. Form dough in long rolls, 1 1/2" across. Cut in 3" lengths and shape into crescents. Bake on an ungreased cookie sheet at 325 degrees for 15 minutes. Do not brown. Cool slightly. Then dip in confectioners' sugar. Yield: 2 dozen.
