MAPLE BARBECUED RIBS 
3 lbs. spareribs
1 c. maple syrup
2 tbsp. vinegar
1 grind black pepper
1/2 c. chopped onion
2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. dry mustard

Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.

Cut spareribs into serving size pieces and place in single layer in shallow baking pan. Mix remaining ingredients and pour over ribs, turning to coat all sides. Bake for 1 1/2 to 2 hours. Turn the pieces and brush with sauce frequently while baking. The ribs are done when meat is tender. Serve hot. 4-6 servings.
