PINEAPPLE CANDY 
3 c. sugar
1 c. evaporated milk
2 tbsp. butter
1 dash salt
1 c. crushed pineapple, drained
2 tsp. lemon juice
Chopped nuts (optional)

Cook sugar, milk, butter and salt to a rolling boil. Add pineapple and cook to a soft ball stage. Add lemon juice and nuts. Beat until smooth. Pour into pan. Allow to set, and cut into squares.
